Mandelbrot said: “nomads by choice, pioneers by necessity”, in this condition of nomadic survival my home is inevitably my body. With all the logical results: “every philosophy must be portable” and “whatever you do not require will kill you” (respectively Paul Valery and an old Tuareg proverb). I often imagine myself walking, with my backpack of responsibilities, shedding possible individual tears in the downpour of common regret. I believe that intelligent environments can only spring from intelligent spheres, it’s not a problem of architecture, it’s the craft of Living.
